This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Detalebi (detalebi.ge), why we process it, and how we protect it.
1. Data controller
The data controller is the platform Operator (currently a private individual). You can reach us via the contact page.
2. Data we collect
- Identification and contact data: name, email, phone number;
- Shop data: name, address, city, location;
- Account data: a hashed password;
- Uploaded content: photos of items and of the shop;
- Technical data: IP address and visit statistics;
- Cookies (see the separate Cookie Policy).
3. Purpose of processing
We process your data for the following purposes:
- creating an account and providing the service;
- enabling contact between a buyer and a shop;
- platform security and abuse prevention;
- statistics and service improvement;
- communicating with you (e.g. password reset).
4. Sharing of data
We do not sell your personal data. To provide the service we use third-party processors: hosting and database (Railway), frontend hosting (Vercel), file storage (Cloudflare R2), email delivery (Resend), maps (Google Maps). These providers process data only on our instructions.
5. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and for the period required by law. When an account is deleted, the relevant data is deleted or anonymised, unless the law requires us to retain it.
6. Your rights
Under personal-data-protection law you have the right to:
- obtain information about your data and request a copy;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion (including by deleting your account from your profile);
- restrict or object to processing.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures: a secure (HTTPS) connection, password hashing, and access restrictions.
8. Minors
The platform is not intended for persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page.
10. Complaints
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you have the right to contact the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
